My Summary
About Me
Available for work on Thursdays and Fridays.
Not available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
I am a creative, passionate, and organised professional with over a decade of experience in childcare, arts education, and community engagement. After spending a year and a half traveling the world, I have recently settled in Llanrwst, eager to immerse myself in the local community and seek new opportunities to expand my skills.
My career has been dedicated to nurturing and mentoring children and young people, drawing on my background in Art to create engaging, educational activities. I’ve worked as a Nanny for several families, providing comprehensive care for children of various ages, and as an Artist Assistant, where I supported community art projects and helped to create safe, inclusive environments for people of all ages and backgrounds. Additionally, I have experience as a Learning Officer, developing and delivering arts programs that inspire creativity and learning.
Outside of work, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. I love wild swimming, walking, and hiking, which not only keep me active but also inspire my creative pursuits. Cooking is another passion of mine—I enjoy experimenting with new recipes and sharing meals with friends and family.

Sophie looked after my baby from newborn to 2 years old and I can’t recommend her highly enough! She carried out nannying, babysitting, housekeeping and even stayed overnight for me on occasions.
A fantastically, kind, caring and thoughtful lady who brings such a burst of sparkly positive energy into everyone’s lives.
Sophie is proactive, flexible and enthusiastic. She anticipates yours and your child’s needs well in advance. She was always there when I needed her the most and had already thought of things I hadn’t even considered. She is also wonderfully creative and can keep children occupied and interested for long stretches. My baby thrived under her care.
As a single first time mum, her experience was invaluable to me and I will be forever grateful. She has a natural empathy with children and my daughter absolutely loves her.
She is sorely missed and I hope she will be available for childcare again when she finished her world travels.
I would say she is like a real life Mary Poppins but she is actually better than that!
Sophie only worked for us for a few days but the children really liked her. Both of them were very comfortable with Sophie. She is very flexible, clear on what she can and can't do and made us feel at ease when we left our children under her care, particularly our younger one who has special needs. Would definitely recommend her to any family!
