About Me
I am a fun, friendly and enthusiastic childminder who understands that leaving your child is one of the hardest things to do...
I also understand that each child is unique and in order to grow and learn there needs to be a safe fun area to play!
I have a spacious house with a dedicated play room with many resources for a variety of ages and abilities.
I am a member of the Forest Childcare Association and I believe that spending time outdoors is very important.
We have a fully enclosed large back garden that the children can access whenever they want with a vegetable plot, a sand pit, a water table, playhouse, mud kitchen and many other garden toys and open ended resources to promote learning through play. I will provide many opportunities to play and learn from the world around us.
I love going on adventures with children and make good use of the local areas and facilities. We are very fortunate to live near and have access to lovely parks, woodland areas, nature reserves and beach fronts and we visit these places regularly.
We have membership to The National Trust, The English Heritage, Jimmy's Farm, Banham Zoo, Africa Alive and Colchester Zoo..
I have a clear, enhanced DBS check which I update yearly.
I am happy to accept children entitled to all funding and i am also able to accept the tax free childcare system.
Development through the seven areas of learning is encouraged using child led play and explorations.

About me:
My name is Nicole and I'm 45 years of age with 2 children aged 15 and 11 years.
Being a childcare provider is extremely rewarding and a privileged to be such a big part of any child's life.
As your childminder i promise I will be in 1 of 3 places;
Infront of you to cheer you on, behind you to have your back, or next to you so you do not walk alone.
I do not currently offer school or nursery drop offs or collections.

My Experience
I have 2 children aged 11 and 15 years and have previously been a Childminding assistant working with children from ages 6 months to 11 years.
I moved to Ipswich from London in 2016, and established Nicole's Childminding Club in 2018.
My Qualifications
Peadiatric and Youth First Aid, Safeguarding and Data Protection, Childminding Training course, Understanding and working with the eyfs, Recording Children's development, Safeguarding Children, Food Allergy, Food Hygiene, Data Protection, Nutrition 1 and 2, Understanding Behaviour, Working with Children with Special Educational Needs, Makaton level 1 and 2. Wanderlust Study -Hygge in the early years and many many more. Certificates are available to see on request.

My daughter has been going to Nicole's since she was about 9 months old. Nicole has taught her so many things, and she has gained so much from being in a new environment and meeting older children.
Nicole provides so much that you wouldn't get from a larger nursery - regular day trips, personal photos and messages throughout the day, and so much one-on-one attention and care.
I never have any worries now about leaving my daughter while I go to work, as I know she will be loved and cared for and will have an amazing time.

I had never used a childminder before and was a bit sceptical at first when looking for a childminder. Had I known I would find Nicole I would not have worried. Nicole is brilliant and the way I talk about her and how she looks after my daughter to my friends they refer to her as "Mary Poppins"
Exceptional care and love for my daughter and I couldn't be happier, so glad I found her. You will be put at ease from the moment you meet her and see what she has to offer in her beautiful home. Completely changed my opinion of childminding, I only wish I had found her for my eldest as her setting is by far nicer and warm/inviting than the nursery she ended up in.
Thank you for all that you do, you and your family (who my daughter sees as family and talks about all the time) are just wonderful ❤

Nicole is an amazing childminder and person.
She goes above and beyond for my two children. She follows their interests and focuses on key learning that I ask her to and is always there to support their every need.
I have a background in Early Years and am a Reception teacher so I will admit I was concerned I wouldn't find someone I felt 100% happy leaving my children with. But as soon as I met Nicole she put me at ease. She immediately showed how much effort and time she puts into the children and she has a great understanding of the EYFS and it shows.
Nicole is an amazing practitioner who gives my children vast experiences, whether doing focused learning at home through play and exploration or taking them to local parks, farms, beaches and more.
She has great communication skills, keeping me updated throughout the day and is so easy to talk to.
My children do 8-5 on the day they are with Nicole but she is there anytime I need to talk beyond this and will always be there to lead a ear and actively help not only my children's needs but being there for me emotionally too. She treats my children like her own and it is comforting to know. Her own children and partner are just as welcoming.
I could go on to say more but I will end to say Nicole is an Outstanding person/practitioner and I am so thankful that I found her.

When we agreed to meet Nicole for a walk around her setting, we knew we weren’t likely to go with a childminder as we had a nursery in mind, also Nicole was the other side of town for us.
After meeting with her for 45 minutes and being completely blown away by both her and her wonderful setting, we couldn’t imagine not going with her, cancelled all of our other viewings at other placements and agreed to start with her as soon as we could. Not only that, my son loved her so much after that first meeting, he cried leaving her as he wanted to stay there all day.
Nicole is friendly, caring, always in contact, so professional and most importantly she feels like an extension of our family. My son cannot wait to see her on his days with Nicole and doesn’t stop talking about her when he gets home. He truly loves her, we cannot thank her enough for all that she does for us.
She has been encouraging and supportive for our child and she is clearly passionate about creating a fun and very loving environment for the children under her care.
I cannot speak highly enough about our experience with her, well worth driving out of our way for.

My boy has been with Nicole for 1 1/2 years and her learnt so much through her.
Nicole's home is lovely, especially her large garden with lots of play equipment!
Nicole is a fun loving childminder with lots of love and learning to share!

Nicole is incredibly conscientious. Our little boy has grown so much with her support. A wonderfully homely environment, calm and caring yet always fun and positive. Very highly recommended.

Nicole has been looking after my son for 18 months. He has made a strong bond with Nicole and her family and is cared for like part of the family.
She has the perfect setting for indoor and outdoor play and the learning she provides through play is fantastic.
Nicole's positivity and energy is fabulous. Nothing is too much trouble. The updates throughout the day are reassuring that my son is safe, happy and having fun.
My son loves his day's with Nicole and I am thankful for all she does for him and our little family.
I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone searching for a childminder.

Nothing is too much trouble. Her energy is amazing, she is so positive and knows my child very well. Really cares about play and education. Trips out are fabulous too! A lovely setting and a really lovely childminder.

Nicole is a fantastic practitioner and her lovely home is a perfect learning environment for all children. She is clearly very knowledgeable when it comes to child development and worked with me in developing my child's speech, number/colour recognition, physical development and social skills. Nicole and her family cared for my daughter as if she was part of their family, which to any mother leaving their first child is the ideal situation. The combination of love, creativity, discovery, positivity, knowledge and a safe, engaging learning environment makes Nicole's Chilminding Club second to none. Thank you for all you have done for my girl and us as a family.

Nicole has looked after my daughter since she was around 6 months old (she's now 2)! Everything is fantastic. My daughter has made a strong bond with the whole family and loves going everyday! It truely is home from home.
The care is second to none. The updates throughout each day make going to work a little easy. Nicole teaches my daughter on a daily basis and always comes home knowing something new!
I would highly recommend Nicole, the setting is second to none and there is always something for the children to learn/ play with - a full on day.
