About Me
Hello I’m Jodie and I live in Keston with my 4 year old daughter. I have a child friendly house with 2 dedicated play rooms and large open plan dining area for messy play, arts and crafts. I also have a large garden full of resources and toys for the children to play and explore in. I offer a fun, loving, home from home experience where all children grow, learn and explore.
I have an excellent Ofsted report, graded GOOD with outstanding Behaviours and Attitudes.
Meals and snacks are provided, including home cooked meals daily. The children will be involved with weekly baking, I’d love to hear your favourite treats so we can attempt to make them! I support breastfeeding, pace feeding and baby led weaning.
I take the children out every week to various places; country parks, farms, woodland walks, play parks, library, toddler groups and many more.
My Experience
I have worked with children since 2009 where i worked for a children's charity for vulnerable and disadvantaged children. In 2015 i became a Nanny before registering with Ofsted to become a Childminder in 2017.
I have looked after children from 4 months of age and also have my own daughter so am experienced with newborns and children of all ages.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, safeguarding trained, paediatric first aid.

Jodie is very caring and comforting. My little one went to her at 7 months and has been so comfortable with her and the environment right from the start. He stayed calm and happy and blossomed really well. We are really happy with how he's been shaped with a lot of confidence and a warm and friendly attitude. Not to forget how outdoorsy he is because of the regular outdoor activities he has with Jodie and his friends. I highly recommend Jodie for the care and nurture she provides.

When we had our son I was always adamant that a nursery would be better for his childcare. When the time came to arrange childcare for him we met Jodie and I realised that I was wrong straight away.
Our son settled straight away at 10 months old and never looked back. The variety of activities that Jodie did with him, whether at home or on days out, was amazing and when he started school he was more than ready due to the early years care that Jodie had provided.
When we had our daughter Jodie also looked after her and even though she moved 2 years ago our daughter still loves it if we bump into Jodie now due to the bond that they formed in that time.
You couldn't ask for a better childminder to look after your little one's.

Jodie and her setting are excellent. My son has been going to Jodie since he was 10 months old and over a year on, he still goes to her with a smile and leaves with a smile. He has progressed beautifully in his speech and we can tell how much he is learning each time he attends. Jodie's setting is not just childcare and a safe place but a place where children are taught and thrive.

My son was the first child Jodie looked after when she started up her business in Keston. She is a wonderful person, and I would totally recommend her setting for the care, kindness, teaching and communication she has with children and parents alike. I was nervous as had never used childcare other than family and she reassured me, and no amount of check ins from me were too much. She sent me lots of photos of what my boy was getting up to and a diary of all his daily activities home with him after every session. I am having another baby and feel happy that my new baby will be going to Jodie too. She’s very organised and also has a wonderful assistant, Molly.

Since using Jodie predominantly for our son we have found her communication skills, teaching and activities that she offers second to none.
We had always been concerned going down the childminder route especially with a young child who can’t speak fully yet very daunting but we couldn’t have asked for anyone better.
Her relationship with our son and now our daughter has them both excited to go there and even more so with her assist Molly aka Mo mo they really are the best around please for anyone reading don’t hesitate to contact her now you won’t regret it and your kids will be both happy and loved whilst going there.
