Hi, I'm Emma! I am a 30 year old South African living in London. I am down to earth, kind and great with children. Previous employers have described me as dependable, loving and fun. I am a confident cook and an experienced tutor. Happy to muck into family life and help make juggling child rearing easier.
My Experience
I have over 12 years of childcare experience from newborn twins to teenagers. I have worked as a nanny and tutor for the past seven years and come with great references. I am able to cook healthy meals, potty train and organize activities while naming at least five different dinosaurs while constructing a working hot-wheels track. I am paediatric first-aid trained and have experience working with a child with severe food allergies and an epipen. Most of my experience is with under 5s, but I would love to do more tutoring with school aged children. I have previously worked as a high school and university tutor whilst nannying. My last nanny job I managed three under three, so like to think I’m now superwoman! ?????
My Qualifications
I have a postgraduate degree in Anthropology from the University of Stellenbosch. I am currently completing an MA in Psychotherapy. I don’t have formal training in childcare, but make up for that in experience and wit.
My Availability
Looking for a part-time nanny job and babysitting work. Available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and for evening and weekend babysitting.
