My key focus is building a loving, trusting relationship with you and your little one. I’ve worked with many families, getting to know each of their children individually. The most rewarding part of my job is getting to know each child, learning what they love and encouraging their confidence and development every day.
The benefit of having a nanny is that your little one will get to build their social skills in a safe space. From a base of their trusting relationship with me, I’ll help your child to learn critical skills of playing, sharing and forming friendships with others. your child/ children get to form a strong bond with others children as they play and grow.
I work closely with families to find a daily rhythm that works for the children. It’s very important to me that kids get enough sleep, enough outside time, and enough new learning opportunities each day.
I have a clean driving licence with own car.
I can do meals, and happy to talk through any specific needs your child may have. I enjoy cooking healthy food from scratch - my specialties include spaghetti Bolognese, curries (meat and vegetarian) and roast dinner. all children like meals.
I've lived and worked around Angel Islington/Hackney for the past 20 years, so know the best activities and places for children. I'm looking for a family in Hackney/ Islington.
I am a hands on Nanny, energetic, reliable, and thoroughly enjoy everything to do with child development. daily activities include parks, stay-and-plays, libraries and various other activities in the area.
I'm currently working for a family based in finsbury park. Have been working for this family for 3 year. But sadly there requirements will be changing from September as both of there children will be at full time school and no longer need a full time nanny. working hours are Monday to Thursday, 40 hours a week. Happy to do 5 days. The children that I'm currently looking after are 4yrs and soon to be a 7yr old.
so now I'm look for a full-time nanny position ideally from the beginning of September but if need could start before.

My Experience
I have been a Nanny for 20 years plus. I have a vast amount of experience from new born to school age children. Any of the lovely families I've worked for would be happy for you to contact them.
My favourite part of being a nanny is getting to know each child - seeing what they enjoy doing, nurturing their interests and watching them grow into lovely little people.
My Qualifications
Ofstead registered, DBS paediatric 1st aid, safeguarding and child protection. food and hygiene, also have past childminder course and have certificates
Over 20 years experience.

I'm currently looking for a full-time position Monday to Thursday but happy to do Friday if need.

Debbie has been our nanny for the last 3 years, looking after our son and daughter since they were 1 and 4 years old.
Debbie is dedicated, reliable, trustworthy and has been an absolute asset to our family. She is punctual, responsible, calm and kind. She is able to take the initiative to solve issues when they arise, drawing on her wealth of childcare experience.
Debbie has formed a wonderful bond with our children. She loves taking them out and about and organising activities for them to do. Since our elder child started school she has also been brilliant at arranging and hosting after school play dates.
We highly recommend Debbie to any family looking for an active, fun and caring nanny. We will be really sad to say goodbye.

Debra has looked after our daughter (who is now almost 2) for the last year as part of a nanny share. We are moving back to New Zealand so unfortunately have to end this arrangement. I don’t know what we’ll do without her!
Debra has been amazing with our daughter. She is highly capable, goes above and beyond for us and nothing is too difficult for her. She has a great way with kids, teaching them to be confident individuals with good behaviour and encourages a lot of fun too. They are always out doing activities which is great.
The family we share Debra with are also fantastic, their little boy has been like a big brother to our daughter. They are great friends of ours and we are lucky to share a nanny with such down to earth, flexible people.
We would highly recommend Debra to anyone looking for a nanny share.

Debra has looked after our son 4 days a week for the past 1.5 years as part of a Nannyshare. She has become like part of our family!
Debra is a tremendous nanny and I trust her completely. She is super reliable and a good communicator. My son absolutely love her. She is genuinely interested in his development and manages to balance teaching 'right from wrong' with lots of warmth, positivity, fun and activities.
Debra is great in a Nannyshare - communicating well with both families. She has fostered a lovely sibling-like relationship between my son and the other little girl in the Nannyshare. Debra is always prepared, always on time and never takes the 'easy option' when managing the kids (like mum might every so often!).
She is very active - she picks the kids up in the morning and takes them out to parks, playgrounds, farms, singalongs, the library and much more. She cooks yummy lunch and dinner each day - our son actually eats much better with Debra than at home. He comes home each evening with tonnes of happy stories from his day with Debra.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Debra to other families.
