About Me
I am an Ofsted registered Childminder based in Garforth. I have 2 young children who attend the setting. I am friendly and approachable, with a passion for working with children. I love to see them develop and grow. I like to keep children busy and encourage their development in every area. I ensure our days are full of learning opportunities as well as lots of fun. We attend groups in the community and go on regular outings, our favourite place to visit is The Deep and Tropical World. I have a 7 seater car fully insured with business insurance, and all the kit and kaboodle to go with it (car seats and pushchairs).
Although we have busy days we still have plenty of time to play and explore their imaginations and creative sides, we do lots of paintings and messy play.
Some of the groups we attend weekly are Toddlers at Saint Benedicts on a Thursday morning and the Rhyme time session on a Friday morning at Garforth Library.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare for over 10 years in various capacities with lots of age groups. My last post was for 3 years as a behaviour support worker/teaching assistant at a school in Leeds. I have also worked at a private preschool in France for 2 years and prior to that I was an Au Pair looking after a newborn and a 2 year old.

BA (Hons) Childhood Studies
CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education

My Availability
- 7.30- 5.30 Monday to Friday
-Breakfast, morning snack and afternoon snack, drinks and wipes provided.
-Parents/ carers to provide lunches.
-Full and part time spaces.
-2,3 and 4 year old funded space.

-Pick up and drop off at Green Lane and Ninelands Primary

I cannot praise Rachael's services enough, my daughter has adored every day spent at "Rachael's cute little school" (my daughters words). Fantastic communication at all times and more special than that it's such a warming and welcoming environment. It has been a sad day to say goodbye for the start of reception but even today they have made it very special for her with even a leaving tea party. Both Rachael and Gloria are amazing at what they do and I wish them all the best for the future. I cannot recommend this mini nursery setting enough. Will equipped with everything your little adventures could ask for.
