About Me
My name is Jen Gibbs and I live with my husband and our three wonderful daughters aged 16, 14 and 9. We live in a very inviting, open plan house with a spacious playroom, leading to our family friendly garden (with decking, large artificial lawn, mud kitchen, playhouse and wooden climbing frame with swings and slides). We are situated very close to Elmlea Infant and Junior School, The Downs, Canford Park, Stoke Lodge Park, Badocks Woods and Westbury-on-Trym Library.
My Experience
I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I love spending time with babies and children; watching them play, learn and grow, through the stimulating activities and experiences that I provide for them. I value each child as an individual and believe that in my 'home from home' nurturing setting, each child in my care can develop their own unique character and personality.
I am also a qualified Primary School teacher with over twenty years of experience working with children aged between 3-11. I have attended a food hygiene course run by Bristol City Council and provide a variety of home cooked, healthy meals and snacks.

My Availability
I have availability on Mondays from 9 until 3 p.m for an under 3 year old.
I am looking to open up three new spaces for under 3's on Wednesdays and Thursdays from September 2025.
This will be for funded children (Term Time Only) as well as additional ad-hoc days during the school holidays at privately funded rates. I would be looking for families with children who require two full days per week.
Please note I would not be running before or after school childcare for over 5's on these days.
The days and hours would be:
Wednesday 8-5 p.m. 9 hours
Thursday 8-5 p.m. 9 hours

**TERM TIME ONLY AND AD-HOC HOLIDAY COVER FOR EYFS AND SCHOOL AGE CHILDREN.
