About Me
Hi, my name is Mandi. I'm a Registered Childminder and live in Nine Elms, Swindon with my husband and daughter, three friendly guinea pigs and our Cocker Spaniel Cross. I am a friendly, approachable, trustworthy and reliable person. Graded Good at my latest inspection in 2022.
We live in a smoke free four bedroom detached house with a safe, secure garden with a park across the road. There are a number of amenities and walks nearby including Lydiard Park.
I aim to provide a home from home setting where I hope children will feel part of the family while with us.
Activities will include:-

My Experience
Having a daughter myself I have enjoyed encouraging her in all stages on her progression. I have also enjoyed being a parent helper at her school and also helped out at her Pre School on parent helper weeks. I enjoy seeing and encouraging children's natural progression.
My Qualifications
I have completed my First Aid Course, Level 2+ safeguarding course and Food Hygiene Course. My husband and myself have full DBS checks (my husband has actually completed his Childminder Pre Registration Course) I am doing ongoing training to keep myself up to date with all necessary requirements.

My son has been with Mandi since just before his botthday up and until preschool and she is just amazing.
I feel so comfortable leaving him with her, she keeps me regularly updated and he has developed so well.
As my 3rd son I can say this is the most positive childcare experience I have had and would thoroughly recommend Mandi to anyone

I met Mandi when my little boy was about 8weeks old, I walked in and immediately felt at ease and new instinctively this was who I wanted him to be with. My background is in childcare so was extra fussy and neurotic and Mandi immediately put all those nerves to rest. From the moment I left M with Mandi I knew I had made the right decision, I have regular updates, I rarely do drop offs and feel okay at giving Mandi a heads up if he's had a bad night, and she has been really accommodating about his change of routine now he's over 1. As a FTM I'm sure I'm more fussy than most, and probably drive her mad! But M absolutely adores her, and on the rare occasion I have had to drop off, as soon as we reach the house he's literally jumping out of my arms! Couldn't rate Mandi high enough, she is the gold dust of childminders!

Both my daughters have been cared for by Mandi from age 11 months and 4 years old. Mandi is an excellent childminder and from the moment we met her we knew our girls were in good hands. My eldest wasn’t with Mandi that long but she still talks about her time with Mandi and Mandi really helped with her transition to school. My youngest absolutely adores Mandi and always asks if it’s a ‘Mandi day’. We have never had any tears at drop off. We have had some at pick up though as she just loves it there so much she doesn’t want to leave. Mandi sends pictures and updates throughout the day of what they’re up to which is really so lovely. She’s learning tonnes at Mandi’s and had such fun in the process. It’s so nice that she’s so comfortable there; she really is part of the family and is going to miss them so much when she goes to school in September.

My daughter has been in Mandi’s setting for 10 months now and I could not be happier.
After a bad experience with a previous childminder I was anxious to look for another minder and trust somebody else with my girl. But Mandi has gone above and beyond to give us that confidence we needed. My daughter is always so excited to arrive at mandi’s (And sometimes sad to leave when I get her)
Mandi’s care and time is second to none and my girl is always simulated and well looked after when with her. She provides amazing care and always keeps her entertained with trips out and fun activities when at her setting, also taking time to teach her things like colours, shapes and numbers.
Mandi is flexible and understanding of my daughter and our needs, and goes above and beyond for us. I couldn’t recommend Mandi more to anyone looking for a childminder. It takes time to trust someone with your child and Mandi has done that so perfectly. Thank you so much, Mandi. You are wonderful!
