About Me
I entered the education profession 20 years ago and my desire to provide reassuring, fun, safe and inspiring environments to learn and thrive, is still is embedded within me. I’m looking for a new full time (35-50 hours per week) from January 2024 or potentially sooner, for the right role.
I am a caring, passionate and fun person, whilst always putting the needs of the children I care for first! Their safety is always my number one priority! After that, I always try to ensure I build a strong attachment with not only the children but the families I work with.
Away from childcare I enjoy music, films, cooking, dancing, art and spending time with my loved ones.
My Experience
11 years of experience from nursery assistant level to nursery manager. Worked within Ofsted Outstanding nurseries as part of the management team.
I took a change of direction 9 years ago and entered into the world of early year’s recruitment, HR and apprenticeships. However during this time I have remained relevant. I have continued caring for children outside my 9-5, and have accrued 12 families I regularly babysit for. On top of this I sit approximately 3/4 times a week and introduced to 3-5 new families every month who need ad-hoc babysitters. Therefore my ability to build an immediate rapport does come naturally to me. I have also been a proxy parent and provided weekend nannying.
