About Me
Experienced childminder and Early Years Teacher based in Downend, Bristol.
My name is Jenny and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in a lovely three bedroomed house with a dedicated playroom with lots of activities to help the children play and learn. I am engaged to Kieran and we have a son of 16 years called Sam and a baby girl called Madison.
In the mornings, we attend forest schools, local parks and play groups, the library, soft plays and have days out to museums. Our afternoons are spent reading, singing songs, craft activities and playing in the garden. I provide cosy sleeping facilities for the children.
I send parents pictures of their children and details of their activities during the day for piece of mind.
I provide fresh, healthy snacks and drinks throughout the day which is included in my fees and also fresh home cooked meals.
My Experience
I worked as a childminder for 6 years from 2009 - 2015. Then as A Deputy Manager in a day nursery. I am an Early Years Teacher. In 2016 I worked for Learndirect as an assessor in nurseries and preschools. I returned to childminding in 2018 as I missed working with children.
