My Summary

My Experience

My first nanny job was with twin boys of 22 months and I cared for them 55hours a week.
I did everything for them that needed doing and loved caring for them, have fun with them.
What them learn and grow .

I took them to toddler groups, park, play dates, fun activities at home including baking, educational play, messy play, junk modelling.

In 2017 I visited Australia on a working holiday visa and I registered with an agency where I cared for alot of babies over night for parents who weren't sleeping this includes twins of 4 weeks old, 8 weeks old and a baby of 8 weeks old, This include making feeds, feeding them, changing and getting them back to sleep throughout the night.

I am a professional in my approach to being a nanny I care for the children in my care like they are my own. I have a creative and spontaneous personality and have a firm but fair attitude. I am experienced in

- Routine (I feel this is very important, children feel much more at ease when they know what's coming next in their day)

- Weaning (I have loved Annabel Carmel cook books and Baby Led Weaning) I have weaned many babies.

- Discipline ( Firm but fair I follow the parents views on this but am happy to give input if asked)

- Cooking (Fresh healthy meals, I also have looked after children with allergies, I'm happy to make simple healthy meals for example Spaghetti Bolognese, child friendly curries, soups, risotto, pasta bake etc

- Potty Training ( I have potty trained twins as well as many other children and recently mum and I have successfully trained boy 2 years 2 months with great ease! Good teamwork! As it's not always so easy haha)

-Light Housekeeping (While children sleep I am happy to do washing, mopping, hoovering, cooking)

- Playdates ( I am very sociable, I love to meet new nannies and make little playmates for my charges)

- Communication ( It's key to have frequent and clear communication between nanny and family I am happy to keep a daily dairy as well as chat at the end of the day to let you know about the children and our day and I also am happy to keep mum and dad updated throughout the day via WhatsApp sending pictures and videos)

- Fun! ( Last but not least fun! My job is to let the children be themselves express themselves and have fun whilst in my care, learning through play is so curical at there young age musical classes, play, farm trips, play dates, park, messy play, swimming, toddler groups all part of our week, as well as free play and getting messy, I am not the sort of person to stop a children from getting messy, it's all about exploring and getting your hands dirty, how else are they going to learn, FYI all mess is cleaned up by the end of the day!

I am a non smoker, strong swimmer and am an animal lover especially dogs, I have two Cockapoo’s, a lovely friendly boy who’s 15 months and 18 week old puppy ? ?

Up to date paediatric first aid trained (November 2026)

DBS checked on the update register

Car driver with own car and non smoker with business insurance

Experience with babies and children from

newborn to 11 years old but core experience with the under 5's.

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
• Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
