About Me
Hi all, I have two boys aged 8 and 15 my eldest has special needs. I live in Chelmsford close to the A130, I'm a student and a beauty therapist.
My Requirements
My eldest child who is 15 has special needs and is non verbal so ideally you would have some experience/training of working with children with autism, also communication skills such as Makaton and PECs would be ideal but you can learn as you go. My son also has a medical needs (hydrocephalus and epilepsy) so you will need to follow certain protocol if there was an emergency and his shunt failed or if he had a seizure; however this is extremely rare.
Childcare is needed just for my eldest son (15) while I take my youngest to his groups weekly on a Saturday. I may occasionally need some evening respite if you're available.
