About Me
My name is Emily and I have worked in childcare since the age of 16. It all started when I began my work experience in school and decided to experience working at the local nursery where I live. This is the moment I knew what my passion was. Since then I have worked in the same nursery setting for a total of 8 years as I have done some travelling in between these times. I was lucky enough to experience being a full time nanny in Australia with a great family whom I am still very close with and contact every week. I also was a full time nanny on a farm with another wonderful family which was a great experience living in the outback. In my second year in Australia I worked in a childcare setting for 6 months before having to leave due to my visa running out. I am a fun and happy person to be around and love social interaction.
My Experience
I have worked in a nursery setting for over 8 years on and off due to travelling opportunities. I am Level 4 qualified and will soon be Level 5 qualified which is an Early Years Foundation Degree. I have had experience working in different family homes and have both been a great success.
My Qualifications
I hold NVQ - Level 2
NVQ - Level 3 in Childcare
Early Years Level 4 and currently finishing my Level 5 which will qualify me in my Early Years Foundation Degree.
