About Me
Hi – My name is Pamela Barker. I am a qualified Early Years Teacher and have worked with children for 24 years +. I have experience with children from newborn to teenage years.
I am married and live with my husband and 7 year old son in Bromsgrove.
My Experience
My background started with training as an NNEB Nursery Nurse and working in a Private Day Nursery and School. I then completed a First-class Honours Degree at Worcester University in Early Years and trained to be a teacher. I worked at a First School for 22 years where I became the Early Years Foundation Stage Coordinator and Senior Leader. I then had the privilege of becoming a Mummy myself and have a little boy called Henry who is now 7yrs.
Since having Henry I have childminded under the name 'Wiggles and Giggles' taught at Meadows First School in Bromsgove and ran my own Early Years Group 'Fun Foundations'.
From September 2024 I am opening as an Ofsted Registered Childminder 'Pam's Place'. I look forward to meeting you x x x
