Welcome to Doodle Dots Childcare
Based in Burghfield Common.

Choosing childcare to suit your working needs can be difficult, the following information goes some way to answer the initial questions new parents ask. Whilst reading the information please remember that a child’s welfare is at the centre of all I do, therefore it is a given that I will plan age appropriate and relatable experiences for all children following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines and implementing all aspects within both settings. I offer home from home care in a nurturing environment which helps children learn and grow in a less structured, more organic way. The message at the heart of the EYFS is that every child is different, and I embrace this ensuring it is remembered at every stage of a child’s development.

Fees

My daily fee is £60.00 for an 08:00 - 17:00 session. I provide breakfast, lunch, snacks, toddler groups and classes as well as nappies, wet wipes, puddle suits, sun hats, UV suits and water bottles so parents have less to provide.

Activities

Where possible we enjoy the great outdoors, making sure we use local woodland to plan adventures with the children. I love going to local parks as well as Wellington Country Park and local National Trust properties. In the past I have had planned days out to Windsor Castle which was a huge success and on rainy days we escape to museums and play centres.

'At home' days consist of garden fun, organised messy play and craft activities, along with plenty of toys and sensory play to interest little minds and give play related social opportunities vital for pre schoolers. I also meet up with other local like-minded childminders to increase social interaction, play opportunities and to swap ideas.
