About Me
DemmyKitties was graded 'GOOD' by ofsted at my last inspection June (2018) , I am ofsted registered childminder. I Live in the north part of thamesmead in a 3 bedrooom lovely house with a huge back garden, where safe play and group activities is encouraged. The setting is situated behind a bus-stop with easy access to bus 472, 401, and 177. There is also a parking space to drop off . The environment is safe, stimulating and fun. Children are loved, cared for and nurtured giving a 1:1 attention.
I am married with two lovely boys, age 24 and 19years old.
I have been childminding for 10 year after 14 years of education provision. I am a qualified Early Years professional and I have the experience of working with children of all ages in mainstream schools, private nurseries and children centres. I love and enjoy being with children, they are the next generation, for me my reward is to see them develop to fulfill their potentials.
At DemmyKitties, my main aim is to get the foundation right, be a good role model, teach good morals and provide for the varied needs of each child in my care. I follow ofsted guidelines to ensure every child receives the best care.
I am vastly experience in the early learning goals. I plan play activities using children's interests to inform planning. I follow the new EYFS curriculum and activities cover seven areas of learning:
Activities provided include: art & crafts, role play, messy play, outing, music, puzzles, cooking, stories, outdoor play and much more.
Children have the opportunity to visit the local children centre (play clubs) toy libraries, library, park, museums and other outings during the school holidays
Qualification: I have a degree in Business administration, NNEB diploma in childcare and education, NVQ level 5, Peadiatic First aid cert, EYFS, safeguarding and food and Hygiene.
I have passed an enhanced CRB check and I hold a public liability insurance with Childcare.co.uk. I am also a network childminder and I can provide free 15 and 30 hours nursery education.
Availability:
I have 4 vacancies (0-5), (5-8),
Monday - Friday
I provide school runs, and daily or emergency, pick & drop services and overnight care.
Hours are 8.00am - 6.00pm (but can be flexible)

My dd has been attending after school club sessions at DemmyKitties; she is picked up every day from school and spends her afternoons here and has a lot of fun!
My first impressions of the settings still haven't changed : it's very clean, well equipped, friendly and welcoming. It's like a home from home experience. Tayo and her staff are really friendly and beloved. I get daily feedback about my dd's day verbally and photos as well. They do loads of fund activities : including dance, making playdough or cupcakes. Learning new skills. Couldn't be happier. Would absolutely recommend DemmyKitties to anyone who needs childcare and great attention.

Thank you Susan. We are pleased to know that J enjoyed her time here. It was a pleasure having her. She will be greatly missed.
Our son had a great time at Demmykitties(DK). Initially he was reserved but DK brought out the best in him by being proactive and showing geniuine love and care. I particularly love how she takes them out and about. My son has great memories of feeding the ducks, going for children disco and his 3rd and 4th birthday at DK's. It gives me great peace of mind when my child speaks of his adventures at DK. I love her flexibility and professionalism too. Children don't just play, they have fun learning too, lots of structured play framed around arts, music, maths and language. She uses technology to include parents too. She is very diligent with daily updates of activities and progress. Excellent service!

We were with Demmykitties for two years and I must say that was the best decision we made for our son. She loves children and my son and always looked forward to going back every morning. My son’s love for books began at Demmykitties. I must also add that she’s so diligent in sending a daily diary/update of his activities and pictures. There’s a playhouse which is the main setting in the garden fully equipped with toys, books etc. We love Demmykitties. Thank you again!!

My son was with demmy Kitties for 6 months before we had to move form the area. I had so much peace within me when my son was at this childminder. I must say my son was well looked after. He was very happy, and did lots of lovely things at his age.
Demmy kiities brought out the best in my son and he was really looked and taken care of.
Demmy Kiities is such a wonderful child minder and I am yet to find someone as patient, caring, understanding and who pays particular attention to a child's total well being. It was a home away from home for my son.
I will certainly recommend Demmy Kitties any time.
