I am a kind, caring, approachable and fun person looking for a childcare position in Brighton. I am currently a supervisor at after school and holiday clubs in the Brighton and Hove area, and I love it! Finding ways to connect with each child individually and coming up with fun new activities to do together is something I truly enjoy ??
My Experience
I hold a current DBS check from my place of work. I have well over 10 years’ experience with children.
The children I currently work with are aged 4-11, although I have experience with under 4s as well, from a previous role at a nursery and a primary school in East Sussex. I would be comfortable working with babies as well as children up to age 11.
The role I hold currently is a part-time position and this is why I am looking for a second job. I am also hoping to become a play therapist in the future so forging connections with young children and providing them with fun and opportunities for learning is very important and valuable to me.
My Qualifications
I have a degree in Anthropology from the University of Sussex. I have no official childcare qualifications however I have current and past experience in primary schools, babysitting and nursery.
