About Me
Hi im Rainy, a registered childminder living in Worlingham my husband (DBS clear), 2 children born 2007 & 2014 and 2 dachshund dogs (depending on preference, the children can have as much or as little contact as they have an area away from children)
My setting is called Rainy’s Daycare and offers a ‘home from home’ environment, a place for your child to flourish. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage framework set by OFSTED to ensure all areas of learning and development are supported and positively encouraged to progress.
I have a good sized house with plenty of room to have fun as well as a playroom with toys to suit all ages and lots of craft opportunities too. My garden is a safe place to expolre the wonders of nature and enjoy fresh air whilst playing, on a slide, climbing frame, ride on toys sand and water play to name a few. We will enjoy the best out of the area by visiting parks, woods, nature trails, zoo, beach and most of the great attractions suffolk has to offer.
I am registered to accept government funded childcare, government tax free childcare and accept childcare vouchers.
My Experience
I had been previously registered before i had my own children and then worked as a key worker in an outstanding rated playgroup in Hertfordshire, I relocated to Suffolk and could not wait to get back to the job i love doing.
I helped run a successful toddler group and enjoy seeing the thrill children have when socialising with other children. My children have also given me great hands on experience, training and much more.
My Qualifications
I have NVQ level 3 Teaching assistant, paediatric first aid, CACHE level 3 Preparing To Work In Home-Based Childcare which includes a range of training from Safeguarding, Working in partnership with parents and other professionals eg preschool, health visitors, medical staff to support children and their families. I will carry on progressing and up dating my training.

We’re about to send a second child to Rainy and my middle child has been going for around two years now. She loves it and looks forward to going. There’s always lots to do and she often comes back with things they’ve made together and has lots of fun. I’ve no doubt she has fun when there and is well looked after. She regularly comes back cleaner than we sent her and is always tired from all the activities! Rainy is really accommodating of our choices (for instance she took on our reusable nappies more than willingly when so many childcare providers aren’t supportive) and does her best to be flexible if our needs change. Communication is great. Rainy is the second childminder we have used and far and away our favourite.
