WORK HISTORY- 7 YEARS EXPERIENCE
PART TIME CHILDMINDING ASSISTANT-
Working alongside my mum with children between the age of 2 months-9 years old I began helping her out when I was just 16 years old after school. I am extremely confident so it was easy for me to get stuck in with nappy changes, arts and crafts, long woodland walks wellies and lots of mud, I like seeing children having fun and exploring nature. 3 years I spent working on and off with my mum but as I was still in education that was my main priority. My mother has had her successful childminding business for 10+ years now... (I’m very used to being around children).

FULL TIME NANNY- Working for a loving family that live near by. Looking after their 3 children from Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm. June 1st 2016- January 4th 2018.


My main responsibilities were-
• Drop offs and pick ups at school
• Playgroups with the youngest
• Cleaning of the household
• Washing and ironing the children’s clothes
• Changing nappies
• Preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner
• Home work
• Organising play dates
• Informing the parents on daily school news
• Bed routine (Bath and pyjamas for all and bottle for the youngest) • General care and attention for the children
• Occasional babysitting in the evenings if parents had plans

As most of my day was spent with the one year old I wanted to make sure my day was busy and I made sure the baby had the best days possible one on one with me. I used to take the baby to playgroups age related for his age, prepared the bag for the day and made sure there was enough snacks, nappies, wipes etc for the baby. Taking him on walks to the park for fresh air and taking him with me to run errands when necessary. I am very organised so when baby napped I made sure food was prepped for tea time and washing was up to date. Feel free to call the family for more information. BABYSITTING REGULARLY FOR A LADY SINCE THE BABY WAS NEWBORN-

I looked after her newborn baby girl up until she was 4 months old, as the mother needed help seeing as it was her first born. This involved things like staying home with baby whilst mum was out running errands and when she had things to do.

Caring for the child included-
• Sterilising and preparing bottles
• Changing nappies
• Engaging with baby
• Bathing baby when needed
• Initiating sleep routine
• Making sure baby was happy, clean and fed.
• Supporting the mum with weaning ideas and getting ready for some changes
• Respecting the parents wishes



PART TIME AFTER SCHOOL NANNY/ FULL TIME DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS- (current position... I started in august 2019)
I am currently working for a lovely VIP family in Hitchin, I’ve formed a lovely relationship with the family after working with them a year and a half now. They have 4 children. Identical twin boys aged 7, girl aged 5, boy aged 10.
Term time my role includes- school pick ups, home work, activities and fun games, a fresh cooked meal for tea, bath time, story time, bed time.
In the holidays I am very organised and plan fun days out for the children trying to accommodate all four- usually longer hours or morning hours, cinema, restaurants, pumpkin carving, farms, playgrounds, pizza making, baking, bike rides, pic nic, swimming, soft play, play dates and lots more.
I am firm with the children when their behaviour is bad but I am also understanding. They are small humans with emotions just like us so I’m very good with meltdowns and tantrums. I’m not afraid to show affection to the children and show them they are loved, I think this is very Important.

I also looked after the children when the parents went away. I had a whole week with sole charge of all 4 children. I created a time table for the week and we had a lot of fun. This happened on some weekends too.

My Qualifications

No qualifications in childcare but a lot of experience for my age. And paediatric level 3 first aid trained.

My Availability

Monday - Friday 8am-7:30pm

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £14.00 per hour (net)
