About Me

Hi my name is Alison and i'm an ofsted registered childminder at Little learners. I live in a chalet bungalow and have a large secure rear garden and play room with my ethos being a home from home environment. I have a passion for working with children and watching them learn and thrive through learning and development as "the first five years in a child's life are the most important. I feel its an important factor to build positive relationships with the children and parents by working in partnership to give your child the best possible start in life. I provide a safe, caring and learning environment delivering the Early years curriculum (EYFS) to ensure you child grows and develops both emotionally and academically. I have a wide variety of resources for all ages of children which will enhance their learning. I regularly take the children out into the community by visiting children centres, parks, farms beaches, library's ect. I complete individual learning journeys for each child to ensure each child in my care is achieving to their maximum potential, all learning journeys are shared with parents/carers and parents are encouraged to be actively involved with their child's learning and care. I am able to offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, to include a mid morning and afternoon snack and can do breakfast club and afterschool club, my pick ups are from Sylvan First school and Branksome Heath middle school.
