About Me
My name is Donna and I am an Ofsted registered childminder in the Rotherham area.
I have a very happy and outgoing personality and provide a nurturing, fun and safe environment for all children in my care.
I am 44 and have a loving 12 year old son.
I adore spending time with children, having fun and seeing them smile whilst making memories. Most children that I have taken care of when they were baby's usually return to me during the school holidays!
My aim is always to create a stimulating, safe and educational environment to encourage and support children to thrive, gain confidence and learn through play.
As a mum myself I understand the need for a nurturing environment for our little ones and value the importance of each individual child's needs.
I am a home from home setting, with a good sized garden where we love to explore, play and learning together.
My Experience
I have worked with babies, young and older children for as far back as i can remember in various settings one of which was a camp in Isreal where I taught basic English to the children gaining so much knowledge on route, after I had my little boy I gained lots more experience than I could have ever imagined and I still love the gentle parent approach that we still have now.
I constantly thrive to improve my service and love feedback from parents.
Arts, crafts, sensory play, dance, singing, children's yoga, role/imaginative play, baking, games, are to name a few of what I love to do with the children.
