My Summary
About Me
I live in Cubbington with my husband, two children (aged 25 & 21) and various pets.
Lots of visits to parks, toddler groups, farm parks, places of interest. We enjoy doing arts and craft activities & baking, as well as free play. We have a large secure garden where the children enjoy access to outdoor play, excercise, water play, mud kitchen, climbing frames, balance beams, stepping stones, little tykes cars etc. We get involved in growing fruit and veg to encourage healthy living, but the emphasis is on having fun as we learn in a home from home environment.
We walk a lot to ensure fresh air & exercise and with a parrot, guinea pigs & 2 dogs, can help teach the children about the responsibility of caring for pets. We visit some lovely toddler groups each week, where the children get to socialize with larger groups of children.
My Experience
Two children of my own!! I have been a registered childminder since November 2007.
Until Covid, i looked after many families, some of whom had been with us for 8/9 years. Since Covid, i have just concentrated on pre-school children.
My Qualifications
NVQ 3 in Children's Care, Learning and Development, plus previous school/college & professional qualifications in Business, Finance & Training.
I have had five Ofsted inspections to date, all of which resulted in a "GOOD" the latest one being January 2023.
I continue to attend personal development training courses & conferences as they are made available by the Early Years team and read a variety of Childcare publications to keep up with current legislation/ideas etc.
I am currently studying the Time to Talk tiers, which are aimed at speech and language development.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£50 a day fully inclusive of meals and snacks.
