About Me

I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 3 years and I am now looking for temporary, part time childcare work outside of my home.

My Experience

I have 3 years experience working as a childminder looking after children aged 0-5 years in my own home. Previous work includes working as an assistant teacher for children with special needs for over 10 years. In this work I used Makaton sign language daily and supported children with communication difficulties. More recently I have worked as a nanny for a family with twins and as a class assistant for a Montessori home school education group.

My Qualifications

As well as completing the Bristol City Council childminding course, I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, I am trained in paediatric first aid and I have an up to date enhanced DBS certificate.
I had my first graded Ofsted inspection as a childminder in June 2022 and received a grade of 'Good'.
