Hello my name is Kerry, I am 41 year's old. I have two boys aged 15 and 7 and a 1 year old daughter. My husband co-minds full time along side me. We enjoy being outdoors with the children. We are friendly, trustworthy and well organised. Priding ourselves in offering a home from home nurturing child care service. We love watching the children develop, grow and gain their independence. Where possible we will always try and accommodate the children’s home routine within our setting and work with you to try and over come any hiccups you may have along the way from fussy eaters to head strong toddlers.
We work along side SEN, SLT and teachers of the deaf.
We like to take outings to local parks exploring nature, messy play groups, boogie beats and soft play. Our setting is a mixture of plastic and wooden toys and we are looking to progress to more wooden and natural toys. We also like to do lots of sensory play for the younger children including painting, arts and crafts for the slightly older ones.
I offer wrap around care for school aged children, with drop off and collections at Codnor primary school
Care for pre school / early years children, holiday cover is currently full.
In my home the children have access a fully equipped playroom and free flow to an undercover play area Where we offer anything from down time to relax with a book to messy play activities and dancing.
There is travel cots, pushchair, floor mat or just a comfy pillow on the sofa if children prefer for nap times. I also have a conservatory for older children to go and relax after school equipped with Lego, boardgames.
Outdoors we have a under cover car port for the older children and messy play along with an undercover area for the younger children. So little ones can have fresh air daily what ever the weather decides. I have a trampoline, bouncy castle, paddling pool, sand pit and messy play area along with other outdoor play equipment. In the summer months we also like to do gardening, painting and lot of uses more outside.

My Experience
I have three children of my own and two grown up step children. I have experience in dealing with food allergies and SEN. So I am happy to take care of children with these needs and work alongside yourself and any other outside support they may require.
We currently work with SEN, SLT and Deaf therapists.
I have experience dealing with medical problems ranging from asthma to anaphylaxis.

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
Fees £55 per day

I am happy to provide nappies, wipes etc at an extra cost (no profit made on these)

We were a little apprehensive about moving childminders but we shouldn’t have been!
Kerry and her husband are amazing. So kind and friendly to both myself and the children.
My little boy was a bit upset on his first day but after that he’s been running in and can’t wait to go! My daughter is picked up from school and loves spending time at Little Stars, she doesn’t want to leave!!
The setting is wonderful, perfect set up for learning and fun. Can’t wait until the summer months and they can make the most of the lovely garden and all of the outside play area.
Best decision we’ve ever made. Highly recommend Little Stars, they really are stars ⭐️

Kerry and Jason are lovely and my son Charlie 19 months has settled in really well, on our first meeting Charlie took to kerry amazingly I had never seen him react so positively to a stranger before he felt very comfortable with her which was great to see, we are look forward to seeing Charlie progress in a lovely home from home environment.

My little toddler is having the best time with Kerry. You can tell how much she loves her job and to take care of the little ones. I'm very happy with all the activities she plans and she always keeps me informed. Good communication, she's lovely and deserves 5 stars

Thank you Kerry for your warm welcoming home to be a home from home environment for my son :) he absolutely loves it thanks to the settle in sessions (more so for my benefit). I cannot wait to see him learn and grow with all the other children.

Finding someone who my son settled with was hard after suffering with my son not settling with childminders in the past i was extremely worried about sending him but from the first time he loved it and enjoyed every minute.
Kerry is lovely and her home is perfect, so happy I've found her. Would recommend to everyone

Kerry has looked after my children during the school holidays for a few years. They are always entertained whilst they are there and come home happy.
