Home from Home

Both my daughters were with Nicky for 18 months. We are only moving away from using Nicky as our youngest has started full time nursery before starting school next year. Nicky offers a very homely setting, and very often does trips out for the children, going to soft play and parks, feeding the ducks and visiting local airports to see the aeroplanes.
Our daughters often came home with crafts they have made and cakes they have decorated.
We received daily updates and photos from Nicky of the girls doing activities, which helped us to know that they were enjoying themselves!
Nicky provided fantastic care for our daughters and she is greatly missed. The girls always felt comfortable in Nicky’s home and also enjoyed spending time with her family and the other children.
Knowing that your children are safely cared for whilst you are not with them is the best feeling, and it’s exactly how we felt with Nicky.

Best decision I ever made

My oldest daughter, now 4 years has been with Nicky since she was 12 months. And my youngest is with her now.
I feel so relaxed to get on with my day knowing my two girls are happy and learning with lots of snaps of how their day is going to keep me updated. Nicky drops my eldest off at nursery whilst taking my other to toddler groups or to the park/soft play. She quickly puts them both into a good routine doing everything I asked her. They come home happy, rested after their naps, fed and often carrying creative crafts/cakes. I receive a detailed log of their day to day activities and toilet/behaviour. Both girls have made best friends with Nickys children she cares for.
I also bond so well with her and her lovely family that it’s such a pleasure to know them. Very much worth it knowing your kids are happy and they LOVE Nicky to bits.
Best decision I ever made.

Fabulous Childminder

Our son has been with Nicky since he was 10 months old, we are only now moving on due to moving to nursery full time before school.
Nicky offers a lovely setting, with trips out for the children every day - ranging from soft play and parks, to feeding the ducks and local airport visits. Our son has made lots of friends through Nicky's setting, and adores Nicky and her family.
Our son often comes home with crafts he has made, or cakes they have decorated, as well as telling me all about his day.
We recieve daily updates and photos from Nicky of the activities, which is perfect for keeping us in the loop.

Thanks for the lovely review it’s been a pleasure looking after little Alfie and watching him grow into an independent little boy or big boy as he tells me. I wish him luck at nursery and we are definitely going to miss him in the house.

If I could take Nicky and Lauren with me when we moved I would! My little girl had been with Nicky since 8 months to 16 months and was so happy every day! Nicky provides a safe, fun, secure environment even through out covid they went out most days to the park or to feed the ducks.
I got daily updates of photos and a written journal. Sarah learnt many skills with Nicky. From sharing with others, drawings and I honestly dont think her speech would be as good as it is without Nicky. We miss her so much.
If you want a reliable, friendly, caring and great communication with your childcare Nicky and Lauren are perfect.
Nicky doesn't provide food however was always happy with whatever i provided and supported my baby led weaning.
She follows routine to fit in with ours and is flexible with working hours.

Loving childminder with warm family home

My daughter has been with Nicky since June 2019 and quickly settled with her routine. Nicky is very thoughtful in sending lots of lovely pics throughout the day as well as making sure you have a nice little write up of the kind of day she has had. This has meant I have had no worries about how happy my daughter has been while with Nicky and knowing her development is on track.
Nicky has a fun and very caring manner that means I often have arrived to collect my daughter and she is either giggling or having cuddles with Nicky’s grown up daughters. Would definitely recommend her to friends and know my daughter will miss her time there.

Lovely childminder offering home away from home

My two year old son has been going to Nicky since September 2018. Due to Nicky's enthusiastic and welcoming nature he had no problem settling there. Very soon he has become very attached to Nicky and her family and wants to go to "Nicky house" even on weekends. Nicky is very loving and makes every child in her care feel special. She takes children to toddler groups, soft plays, parks and garden centre and makes their day interesting with several child focused activities. She sends me pictures of my son doing activities during the day. When I go to pick him up she tells me in detail how his day has been. Even I like to see Nicky every day and have a chat with her. Me and my son are so going to miss Nicky when we move away. I can recommend her to everyone.
