My Summary
About Me
Please Note : I am awaiting my new Ofsted certification as I have had a change of address and recently been inspected.
My name is Debbie Tromans and I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder. I live in Broughton on the new Kingsbrook estate in Aylesbury with my husband and two children aswell as our little cavapoo dog Lucy. I worked as a carer for over 15 years. I have a naturally caring nature and feel confident in this role as caring for children comes very naturally to me. I am a very friendly, approachable person making this an ideal career choice for me.
My Experience
I am experienced with children from newborn to 9 as I have two children of my own and draw from my own personal experience. I've had lots of little ones in my care over the years and can provide references on request. I run crèche classes at my Church on a Sunday and have done so for the past ten+ years. I previously worked as a carer at Bradbury House, a private residential home for 15 Years and achieved a level 3 NVQ .I have also had 3-4 years experience working with special needs young adults at Sealy's House in Beaconsfield. I understand how daunting and what an emotional roller coaster it can be when choosing someone to look after your little ones and on that basis am very sensitive to the needs of every individual family.
My Qualifications
I have completed my training with Pacey, Level 3 Home Based Child Care and I have a good understanding of the early Years Foundation curriculum which teaches children to be happy and confident in their learning through play. I have completed my Pediatric First Aid. I have also completed my Level 2, Food and Hygiene certificate and am an Ofsted Registered Childminder.

My daughter absolutely loves Debbie and we as a family have have been so happy with the care that she has provided for our youngest daughter from the age of 2 until 3 yrs 3 months. Debbie runs a fun caring and organised setting. Debbie has fun activities and toys that encourage learning and independence.
We have an older daughter who is at school and Debbie has always been very flexible and included our eldest during the holidays which is a real treat for her and she looks forward to going to debbies in the holiday. The setting has a fun and caring atmosphere.
Debbie was very supportive to both our daughter and us while adjusting to potty training and other developmental stages.
Debbie takes the children on outings to the park, National trust properties, soft play. Library’s, music groups that are always varied with lots of outdoor play too. I would highly recommend Debbie.
Debbie looked after my daughter from the age of 9 months to 18 months and I will always be grateful for being able to leave my first born child to go back to work and not have to worry about her as I was so happy with how she was being cared for. Debbie provided a safe home from home setting that was always clean and well organised. Debbie would provide interesting and age appropriate activities that promoted learning. They would visit soft play centres, toddler groups, garden centres and National Parks.
Being a teacher and having various working hours, Debbie was flexible to our needs as a family and nothing was ever too much trouble.
Debbie is a genuinely kind and caring child minder who I would not hesitate to recommend to others.
Debbie worked with children and young adults with learning needs for a few years until she changed roles and became a carer in a residential care home for the elderly. I worked alongside her as a team member and then later as her manager and she always shone in her role as someone who is practically minded and able to keep a cool head and think on her feet when under pressure. She has had many years training in many aspects of care- specifically to the elderly but much of that knowledge is appropriate to any person under her care. She was taking on team leader duties when she had to take on less time consuming responsibilities once she started a family. She has 2 daughters who she has devoted the past 7yrs to and now they are both in full time education has been able to train in child care and give more of her time back to helping others. She has skills and gifting in care, providing a compassionate and understanding approach to anyone she works with, developing in them a greater sense of worth and security.
My sons (age 2yrs & 4yrs) have been looked after by Debbie for nearly a year. They have always looked forward to spending time with her and enjoy the range of activities she offers including lots of outdoor play which is ideal for my boys as they have a lot of energy!
Debbie is very approachable, flexible, accommodating and a joy to work with. Debbie cares deeply about the individual needs of the child and the children are very relaxed and happy in her home and in her care. I would highly recommend Debbie as a childminder.
