My Experience
I have lots of valuable experiences within different childcare roles within the last 19 years. I have worked in a private nursery setting for many years, I then took on the role of being a carer for a young boy with profound learning and physical disabilities and was responsible in his overall care and medical needs. Once that care package was over i then began working in a Child development centre and provided activities and mobility programmes for children with complex needs. This also included providing children with there medical needs also. I then moved to the neonatal unit where i began working with babies that were premature or needing extra support in the beginning of their journey of life. I love being involved in providing care and support to help these little babies grow and progress to get home with their parents. A part of my role is to also support and help parents engage and care for their babies.
