About Me
Hello, my name is Laura and I am the owner of Willow and Friends Childcare.
I am a qualified Early Years Teacher who spent my working time shaping and nurturing the minds of 25 little munchkins which I absolutely loved. Then along came Willow in July 2017. Having Willow made me think about what I wanted to do once my maternity leave finished.
I knew I still wanted to work with children but wanted to spend as much time as possible with Willow so I decided childminding was the way to go! I have the best of both worlds as I am able to care and educate others little ones, as well as my own littles ones.
I have now been working as a childminder for 7 years and I love it. Willow now has two brothers and we love spending our days together with each other and our little friends.
I am very lucky to have such a wonderful job and my children love having lots of new friends!

Laura looked after my first born from the age of 9 months old. Laura took excellent care of my daughter, helping her development, taking her to playgroups to help her socialise and interact and i found her very supportive as a fellow parent. I never had to worry about my daughter while I was at work. Laura always made me feel welcome to be in her home on pick ups and drop offs and always took the time to update me on my child's activities or anything else she felt I needed to know. As a first time parent I was anxious at first on whether to put my daughter in nursery or with a Childminder and what/who would be best for her. Choosing Laura as my daughters Childminder was the best decision I ever made for my daughter.

Laura has looked after both of my children and really has provided the best care for them both. They have so much fun and learn so much whilst having the best time. They loved coming home and telling me about what they did and showing me things they made. Having a child who really didn't want to leave me Laura was so calm, caring and loving and it really was a home from home.
They still talk about Laura and the things they did and it really gave them the best start in life, we couldn't recommend Laura enough.

Laura looked after our son from age one. She has worked wonders in aiding his development and the setting is just perfect.
Laura was always open with communication and would send photos of activities/day trips the children were doing.
Our son is now 5 and still speaks about Laura and her children all the time. I couldn't recommend Laura highly enough.
