About Me
12 years Nanny/Nursery Nurse experience caring for children aged 4 months to 9 years. I’m a calm, caring, patient person with a good sence of humour and lots of energy and enthusiasm. I believe in working together with parents as a team. I recognise the importance of good nutrition for children and cook healthy well-balanced meals. I involve the children I care for in a wide range of fun activities, both indoors and out, which helps to promote all areas of their development.
Being a nanny means that I am different from a childminder or nursery as I can offer lots of individual attention to your child. I provide a nurturing, caring environment where your child has all the comforts and security of their home setting and isn't at the mercy of nursery illnesses. I give children attention, listen to them and aim to support their learning. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and I think this will reflect on how happy they are in my care. My most important aim is to ensure all children in my care are happy, educated, safe, secure and enjoy their childhood to the fullest. I understand the importance of nurturing young children to help them discover and develop in their emotional, physical, creative and academic skills.
Capable of setting clear goals and boundaries in partnership with parents and carers.
I get job satisfaction in contributing to your children's and your own family time, by hopefully reducing some of the strains of modern family life.
My Experience
My responsibilities have included full daycare from 6mths upwards, to include all of the daily requirements of the children in my care.
Duties - toddler groups, swimming, craft/play, discovery, walks, trips to the park/Wisley, baking, play, school drop off & collection, after school activities/clubs/homework/craft/play/ dentist/ haircuts as required. Preparation and cooking of healthy families meals, batch cooking, shopping as required. Family’s laundry, ironing, wardrobe management.
I am a non smoking car owner with a clean driving licence. I am happy to get involved, I genuinely love spending time with children.
I have raised 2 successful children of my own and have 5 plus consecutive years with the same family.

Debbie was with us for 5 months as a nanny/ housekeeper looking after our 1 year old daughter. Debbie was kind, caring, professional and reliable and built a lovely bond with our daughter, as well as helping around the home and cooking our family meals.
