Hi, my name is Naira.
I'm 36 years old and I come from a large, happy family which is very important to me. I have 3 brothers who are my best friends.
I am a qualified vet in my home country and I love animals. I speak Portuguese and English. I am sure that I love London and I want to settle and make a home here.
I'm an upbeat, positive and energetic person and I like to run to keep fit in my spare time.
I also like to cook, mainly healthy meals.
Hygiene, diet and cleanliness is very important to me.
I'm a very hands on nanny who likes to read books to the children, take them outdoors, do arts and crafts, and for sure your children won't be bored with me :). I prefer human interaction rather resorting to a screen for entertainment but of course understand if this is necessary.
My current employer can give a reference for me upon request.
My Experience
I have 6 years experience as a nanny in Brazil.
I have 4 years experience as a nanny in London.
My first job was caring for a 2 yo girl and 4 yo boy. I used to spend the mornings teaching the girl ballet. With both children we would go on adventures, climb things, play football, etc. I would never leave the children in front of the TV, I prefer to educate and develop the children with cognitive and active play and creative activities.
My second job was looking after a 4 yo boy, 5 yo boy and 7 yo girl which I really enjoy. As you can imagine, the children are quite lively which suits my nannying style. I prepare their meals (healthy) and assist with school drop off/collection. Sadly, we can't continue our professional relationship because the family are moving away but I love London too much to follow them. The relationship built with this family is so solid that they always request me to travel with the family in holiday, and I go as guest, not nannying the kids. They are happy to give a reference for me, available upon request.
Both families recommended me to extended family and friends to babysit their children occasionally.
Through my veterinary degree, I taught science classes of 35 in a Brazilian favela, in total I had about 200 students for 6 months and out of all the teachers was chosen by the children to supervise them on a fun day out at the end of the year.

Naira is so professional in her approach with children.
She has been looking after my 2 years old and 7 years old when I have a last minute meeting or when I need some babysit and she as been amazing doing the job. When I get back home kids are so happy and did a lot of things, arts and crafts music singing and reading.
I rely on her when I need childcare.

I met her in the park while watching her play with the children she was taking care of, and she included my son in jest, I asked if she would like to be my son's nanny.
After that she worked with me for 2.5 months on weekends.
My son loves her, she is affectionate, she took care of my son as if it were hers, I recommend her.
She made good and healthy meals for my son, and at the end of the day she left everything organized.
