About Me
Hi there, I'm Emily, I live in Colchester and at present I’m a stay at home mum. I have worked within childcare since 2018 and I was a nanny for almost 3 of those years. I have a broad range of experience from newborn to 5 years of age, and now have a daughter of my own.
My kind and caring nature helps me bond with little ones very quickly, I am very much an outdoor person and enjoy spending time on walks and being in the garden. I am happy to cook fresh healthy meals and do some light house work around your home or help in any other way I can.
I have a full clean driving licence and my own car.
If you would accept a Nanny with own child arrangement that would be highly desirable.
I am expecting my second baby in November so will now only be available until the end of October.
My Experience
Im DBS checked, have Paediatric first aid training. I hold a level 3 certificate in Early years Education & I have taken extra courses in safeguarding, behaviour management and communication with children. I have experience working with SEN children and I also know basic makaton.
My Qualifications
I have a level 3 Qualification in Childcare. I am DBS checked and Pediatric First aid trained.

Emily worked with us for about two years, looking after our son who was just under 1 year old at the start until the summer Covid hit and our son was almost 3. Being our first and only child and not knowing what to expect of a Nanny, finding the right person was so important and a difficult decision to make. Emily was wonderful. Within moments of meeting Emily it was clear that she had such a natural, loving approach to children and our son loved her. She was reliable, kind, always went above and beyond to help, and quickly became part of the family. She is creative, likes to think of new things to do and places to go to entertain and nurture development.
We were all really sad the day Emily had to leave, but were fortunate that she joined the nursery that our son attended so that she remained a part of his early years, and still does today now that he is at big school.
We give Emily our highest possible recommendation.
