About Me
Hi. My name is Becky and I am a mum to two daughters who are aged 16 & 8. I also live with my husband, James and our dog, Coco. We have lived in Ashtead for over 13 years and are lucky enough to live a stone’s throw from Ashtead Common where we spend lots of time.
We have a warm and welcoming family home with a large secluded garden with slides, mud kitchen, play house, ride-on’s etc. Our spacious Snug area is full of resources for lots of playtime fun and learning. I offer home cooked nutritious meals and also involve the children with some fun cooking and baking experiences. I ensure that the children receive a good amount of stimulation frequently visiting Wisley Gardens, National Trust Parks (where we have membership), Bushy Park, local parks, soft-play, toddler groups etc.
I offer a caring and nurturing environment where the children are offered the same love, care, understanding and encouragement as if they were my own.
My Experience
I have been Childminding for 6 years and my experience has come from raising my own children. We also have a very large family and I have several nieces and a nephew who I spend lots of time with.

We’re so glad we introduced our son to Becky. They formed a bond straight away, which we were really surprised to see as he’d previously cried every time we had taken him to his nursery! She is very attentive, diligent, energetic and fun and clearly just has a natural way with kids. Becky is great at reading how they are feeling, if they need to have a chilled time at home or getting them out and about. She takes them on lovely trips and is always great at keeping us updated throughout the day on what he is getting up to. It’s been a massive relief finding someone he likes to spend time with and someone we trust to look after him well.

Ill start by writing that the only reason Becky isnt looking after my little one anymore is that we are relocating to France. Otherwise, he would have stayed with her for a long long time!
Becky started looking after my little one from 15 weeks old. Thanks to her gentle approach, and a few inductions days, the transition was seamless. Becky has always respected our child's sleeping / eating patterns and provided an evolving environment as he grows. Nothing has been too much trouble. She has taken him on many outings with other little ones, has helped him learn to sit up, hold a spoon, drink out of a glass, take his first steps, say his first words. She has seen him through teething episodes and little colds and whenever I drop him off, I know he is going to his second home and will be treated as a family member. He has a brilliant relationship with both Becky's daughters who are like older siblings to him.
Becky sends me daily updates and photos, to see what he has been busy with on that day. I really couldnt have found a better childminder and she (and her family) will be sorely missed.
