About Me
I have more than ten years of experience in childcare, ranging from casual babysitting to long-term nannying. I have worked with kids from ages two weeks to 13 years, and have particular expertise in SEN and disability nannying. I have also tutored privately and provided PA support for young adults with additional needs. I hold a current DBS and up-to-date first aid training, and am currently employed at a secondary school during term-time providing administrative and pastoral support.
My Experience
From early 2018 until September 2021 I worked as a private Nanny in Cambridge, alongside tutoring for all ages and educational levels up to GCSE exams (English, French, Drama, Maths up to KS2, general written exam practice) until I relocated to Manchester.
I have childcare experience with all ages, including significant experience with newborns and children with additional physical or educational needs. I have experience with administering feeds and medication via G/NG tube, and caring for an infant with a stoma.
I am confident in learning and working to individual sleeping and eating routines, and building strong relationships with families. I have also worked with kids from age of 6-10 in a playleader role, supervising large groups of children and leading drama and music activities.
Until September 2021 I worked regularly with three families in Cambridge, with tasks including meal preparation, activity planning, bedtime routine, travel chaperoning, school-run, and homework help.
I can help with reading, writing, and creative play, as well as supervising whilst children develop independence and self-led play.

My Qualifications
I hold a current DBS and up-to date first aid training.
I can provide multiple references from families who have used my babysitting and nannying services on request.
I have 14 GCSE's including three languages, 3 A-Levels from a highly-regarded institution, completed my BA in 2018 and an MA in 2022.
I have also completed epilepsy-specific training, and am confident with managing seizures and dispensing medication.
My Availability
My availability is flexible - I work school hours during term-time, and have more availability during the school holidays.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
My fees start at £12 per hour for evening babysitting, and daytime hands-on childcare starts from £14 per hour to reflect my experience. This can be discussed with individual families depending on ages, number of children, and duties. Rates for overnight childcare can be discussed to suit individual needs. Tutoring starts at £15 per hour for primary school aged children, £18 per hour for year 7-9, and £25for GCSE tutoring.
