About Me
My name is Mel Ingram and I would like to welcome you to Greenside Childcare. I live with my husband
James and our 3 children. Jessica born in 1999, Kyle born in 2001 and our newest addition, Alana born
in 2016. We also have a Jack Russell (softie) dog called Ole (pronounced Olly) who is 18 years old. We
moved to Wixams in December 2012, where we bought our second home and we absolutely love the
village life. In May 2020 we moved to Wilstead where it is as equally beautiful with wooded walks and a large play area and park, right next to our house.
I understand what an emotional roller-coaster it can be finding the right person to look after your little ones. The transition can also be quite hard on both you and your child/children. We can work together to find the best solution to make this as smooth and comfortable for everyone. I welcome settling sessions to help with this. I have a great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage to teach them and help them to develop and grow into happy confident children, in a safe and caring environment
I am very fortunate to work in a job that I love and I wish that I had done it a lot sooner. It is easy for me to go above and beyond my job description, delivering a safe and fun environment for your children to develop in and gain great childhood memories.
My Experience
As mentioned above, I am a Mum of three and have been running my Ofsted registered childminding business since July 2018. Our home is very child friendly and we take pride in ensuring that it is a thriving environment for children to learn and develop in. I have completed my Emergency Paediatric First Aid training and HBCA Level 3 Award – Preparing to Work in Home-Based Childcare. This is a NCFE/Cache accredited qualification and is nationally recognised as the leader in developing early years qualifications.

My Fees
- Childminding from £6.00 per hour
£6 per hour including all food, snacks and groups.
