Hey! My name is Matilda, I am 25 years old, live in Camberwell and am looking for a family I can do regular babysitting for.
My friends and family would describe me as an extremely empathetic, kind and friendly person. I am patient and calm character as well as extremely passionate and hard-working, I put 100% into everything I do!
I have a good sense of humour and a playful personality which when combined with my open, companionable and calm approach to life, works well when working with children.
I am reliable, punctual and responsible, and fully flexible to work with your needs. I particularly love taking part in fun activities with the children I work with, particularly creative ones, such as photography, painting and drawing. I love caring for children as we always have so much fun together and I love exploring the world through their eyes.

My Experience
I am fascinated by child development and love the unique relationships that I have built with the children I have worked with. I recently full time nannied for a family of two girls aged 2 and 4 which involved school and nursery pick ups and drop offs, after school activities, dinner prep and bath and bed time routines.
Since the age of 14 I have regularly babysat for local families, for children between the ages of 1-16, cooking dinners, playing games, helping with homework and putting them to bed.
I have also worked as a teaching assistant at my local school, helping around the classroom. I have always dreamed of becoming a primary school teacher and will be doing a PGCE in the future. Growing up in a big family, I have also always helped my mum around the house with looking after younger siblings. I come from a family of sisters and brothers who are my best friends and I believe this is what compels me to work with children. I am DBS registered.
