My Summary
About Me
I am a married mum to 3 girls ranging in age from 1 to 15. I live in the rural village of Oldhurst. We spend as much time as we can outside making use of our large enclosed garden.
We live within walking distance to an amazing farm shop that also has animals and a farm walk which we make regular use of.
I run my setting to utilise the outside wherever possible and aim to be as child led as I can. This includes a flexible routine to ensure the children have as much time to engage themselves fully in activities.
I believe children learn best when they lead their learning and so base everything on what the children have shown they are interested in.
My Experience
I am a qualified nursery nurse, I hold a Btec National Diploma in childhood studies. I spent 12 years working in nurseries, and in this time I worked with a variety of age groups and with children with special educational needs.
