Hi there! I'm Charlotte and I'm local to St Albans. I currently offer evening childcare/babysitting. Doodle is my username on here as it doesn't have enough characters for my name!
I am friendly, reliable and thoroughly enjoy working with children. In the past, I regularly babysat for over five years and have looked after children between 3-13 years old. I took a break from childcare from 2020-24 to focus on other commitments. Some of my hobbies include art and design, gardening, cycling, walking and reading.
I'm happy to help with any homework, do arts and crafts activities, go outside, listen to your child/ren read, read to them and lots more! I'm passionate about ensuring that children enjoy learning and are able to develop and explore things that they're interested in.
I have a valid UK driving licence, access to a car (for commuting purposes) and a standard DBS check (valid from July 2024). I would be happy to undergo an enhanced DBS check. *Please note that my insurance does not cover use for childcare purposes, it only covers me getting to and from your home.*

My Experience
Five years experience (2015-2020) of regular babysitting and some daytime nannying for multiple families with children between the ages of 3 and 13 - references available on request.
Took a break from childcare 2020 - August 2024. Babysitting again as of September 2024 - present.
My Qualifications

Education: First Class BA (Hons), A Level and GCSE
My Availability
I am currently looking for part-time evening childcare positions to fit around my other job and volunteering. I'm available for regular babysitting/evening childcare, until 2am latest. I’m able to be more flexible when given plenty of notice but can often help out on occasions you need childcare last minute!
The availability below reflects my current availability for the next month or so, but please do get in contact with me if you have other requirements as I am open to considering different positions/hours. Depending on what you’re looking for, I’m happy to chat and hopefully come to an agreement that works for us both.
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evening availability differs week by week, so please try to get in touch with good notice and hopefully I can help!
