My Experience

Temporary Private Nanny 02/2024- Current
I’m currently working alongside a family who has one child. We go on daily outings e.g. Soft play, Farms, parks etc.
my roles are;
Making breakfast/lunch/dinner
Planning activities
Planning outings
Nappy changes
Clothing change if needed
Keeping environment clean and safe
Transporting the child safely in a car to activities.
This is a temporary job till mid May 2024

Private Nanny 01/2020 to 03/2024
Private Family
I started working for a family which I have met while working at the nursery. At the beginning of my employment I was taking care of 2 year old girl in a nanny share. For two days a week I also had another 2 year old girl who were family friends of my main family.
My duties were;
Scheduling day activities for both girls, mainly outdoors
Preparing nutritious meals with special dietary requirements in mind
Keeping environment clean in toy areas and kitchen
Managing expectations of working parents in both houses. I was working in both households on certain days.
Transporting kids safely by car to some activities. I used my own car and I am skilled driver.
I helped both families to manage kids expectations of having dummy. First they completely stopped using it during the day activities with me.
I cooperated with parents on potty training plan.
In the evening I stayed longer or added some babysitting to accommodate parent’s evening plans.
In November 2020 I started my maternity leave with my daughter who is now 3 years old. The main family I was working for had a second child at the same time.

Upon my return to work in September 2021 I was working only for one family, taking care of 10 months old baby boy, 3 year old girl and my 9 months old daughter. 3 years old girl attended nursery in school term time for 3 hours a day. My duties were similar as above and on top of that I was responsible for:
Nursery Pick up and drop off
Baby swimming classes with both babies
Educational activities with 3 years old girl to prepare her for school
I have agreed with the family I was working for that I will attend work every day, even if my child or their child were unwell. I am able to provide contact to a family and also please find reference letter attached.

Nursery assistant 09/2019 to 12/2019
Playhouse day Nursery
I spent 4 months working in a nursery where I was based in the 2-year-old room. I had 5 key children, where I'd plan activities for them to succeed their next steps. I also took the role on to be in charge, this was when there was no room leader in on those days. I got given this opportunity due to me having experience and Level 3 Childcare. I was in charge of;
circle time,
story time
Supported children's development with learning-through-play activities, aiding social, emotional and educational growth.
Monitored interactions within group settings, encouraging sharing and cooperation to facilitate positive socialization.
Recorded and informed manager regarding injuries and accidents

My Qualifications

I have level 1 childcare
Level 2
Level 3
I have completed all of my training between 2015-2019
Basic DBS
I had paediatric first aid but expired last year.
And I have many trainings that I have attended

My Availability

I’m available to start a role from the 20th May.

Monday-Friday available, 7am 6pm
Can negotiate times if needed, to suit around us both
Looking for full time!

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)

£17 gross
