Hello, we are a family of 6. My husband is a doctor at a local hospital and I am a journalist; we live in Bishopston about ten minutes walk from Gloucester Road and have four children aged 6, 5, 3 and 6 months.
My Requirements
I am looking for someone to help me here and there with the children, happy to do just a few hours a week if that suits. The tasks would vary according to when you could do but it would be great to have someone to help with my 6 month old when the others are at preschool and school, just taking her on a walk around the block or something while I get a bit of admin done... or giving me a hand when I've got the 4 children at home... or taking the oldest one on a walk to the shops... as I say it would vary. Sometimes if I'm home with the baby and she needs a feed or something it might be a little light domestic stuff (not proper cleaning but putting a load in the washing machine or a bit of tidying up after the hurricane that is my children!). We are not looking for loads of hours, what would be great is to check in at the beginning of each month and try to find say 3-6 hours a week that would suit both parties. For us this would probably fall on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday. If you're looking for a flexible bit of extra work to fit around your main work/studies/life please let me know. We are a pretty relaxed family and would just be great to have an extra pair of hands sometimes.
