Hi! I'm Sophie :) I am available for flexible hours nannying/babysitting across the North Devon area.
Caring, compassionate, fun, and hardworking. I am passionate about providing children with the tools they need for all areas of their development in a fun, safe environment.
I hold a Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction (with a focus on ABA).
I am a graduate of Education with Early Childhood Studies, and have just left my job as a teacher (unqualified) of children and young people with ASD and associated learning difficulties, having recently relocated.
I am First Aid trained, hold a full driving license and have my own car.
My Experience
With an array of experiences working with children and young people of different ages, I feel that I am prepared for most situations.
I currently work at a school with children aged 8-16, so am available outside of school hours.
My previous experience includes working in a nursery with 5 months to 4 year olds, teaching children with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder aged between 4-19 years old, following the practices of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
I have also been babysitting and providing care for children ranging from 5 months to 12 years old for over 10 years.

GCSE's, A Levels, Art Foundation Diploma, 1st Class Degree with Honours in Education with Early Childhood Studies, Masters in Education, Curriculum and Instruction - ABA, Paediatric First Aid.
My Availability
I am available during the day in school holidays, evenings and weekends. Willing to discuss regular babysitting.
