About Me
Hi there. I'm a single mum working full time with two kind and happy children, my son who is 4 (5 in Dec 2024) and my daughter who is 5 (6 in June 2024). I work from home on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday and in London on Tuesday and Thursdays (I could change these depending on availability)
My daughter loves to read and books are her "thing", my son loves to build and make things. They get along very well and are usually a little double act together.
My Requirements
Depending on the right fit with the individual, I could make a few different arrangements work. As a minimum, someone to pick them up from school when I work from home (3 days, current M, W and F) and look after them until 5 or 6pm (I would expect to the cook their dinner, but would hope you could give them a prepared snack after school on the way home/when they got in).
They will both be going to Holland Haven School from September, and someone to take them there on the days I travel to London would be great. I am hopeful to get them in to the breakfast club 5 days a week from 8am, so I expect it could be 7.30am to 8.30am on those days to allow me to get the 8.05am train from Clacton! If they didn't get into the breakfast club (which is oversubscribed), it would be getting them ready for school and dropping them to Holland Haven by 8.45am. Their dad would pick them up Tues and Thurs after school until I got home so that's covered.
In a perfect world, if I could have an au pair/nanny live in or out who could support me week round, it would be a great arrangement as (as you can tell from what I've written) it's a bit of a juggle at the moment. I would love the kids to have some stability with the same person caring for them.
If you were available for weekend babysitting every now and again that would also be great for me, but that's an added bonus and not mandatory.
