About Me
I am an experienced and qualified Special Educational Needs teacher with over 20years experience working with children, young people and adults with a variety of additional needs. I also have 9 years experience teaching English to Kindergarten and Primary aged students in Thailand. I throughly enjoy this field of work and find it very rewarding. I take everyone as they are, everyone as an individual with specific individual needs and tailor my teaching to the individual, ensuring it is person-centred.
My Experience
I have nine years experience teaching English as a foreign language in Thailand.
16 years experience teaching children and young people with additional needs, including Autism, Asperger’s and young people with SEMH.
Prior to becoming a qualified teacher I was an outdoor activities instructor and I have also gained experience working with children and adults with a variety of special needs including Downes Syndrome, visually impaired, SLD, MLD and multiple sclerosis.
