Hello and welcome to Lucy's House Childminding.
I provide a home from home, stimulating, fun and calm setting for your little one.
We go on regular outings to playgroups, parks and on day trips. I hold a Chester Zoo pass and a National Trust pass to give the children exciting, hands on learning experiences. At home we bake, create craft masterpieces and play with the many stimulating activity boxes that can be adapted to your child's age and progression stage.
I am ofsted graded ‘Good’ in all areas which I am incredibly proud of.
I provide healthy, balanced home cooked meals and snacks.
All food, outings, activities, nappies, wipes and creams are provided at no extra cost.
My personality is of a kind, fun nature and children are often drawn to me.
My husband Mark is currently my assistant and will be joining me full time from September 2025 which is how we have availability. We have two gorgeous sons Oliver aged 9 and Douglas aged 7.
I use an app called Baby's Days to track your child's progress and also use WhatsApp to keep you up-to-date throughout the day with pictures of what they have been up to. I plan activities to ignite their minds through play. And most of all we have loads of fun! I plan, engage and track your child's progress through the early years foundation stages.
We are childminders in my home and also work alongside 8 other childminders to swap resources, have play dates with and hire entertainment together. This provides regular socialisation for your child whilst still getting the attention they deserve.
We also have a network of 18 local minders to ask advice, share best practice, share enquiries and support each other. We make an incredible team!

I am Ofsted registered.
I have been a childminder previously, as an assistant for my sister.
In September 2018 I set up as a childminder in my own home and absolutely love it.
My Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid level 2
Safeguarding level 2
EDI level 2 Children and Young Peoples workforce
Completed all relevant childminding qualifications

I am open Monday to Friday, 7am to 5.30pm, term time only.
