My Experience
I have been in many different childcare setting over the years since qualifying for my b-tech. I have been lucky enough to work with a very large age range of children from newborn to 19years. Most of my experience is as a nanny/special needs carer or a teaching assistant in SEN school. During my time as a nanny I have cared for twins from birth, been part of family excursions/holidays, been reliable for school runs..
My more recent experience lies in special needs in and outside the school environment. I'm confident in behaviour management, makaton, moving and handling, administering and documenting medicines, daily hygiene care,physiotherapy, peg/ gastro feeding, sezuire management and having fun!!!
