About Me
I love learning so I love to inspire people to be open to knowledge. I am a warm and down-to-earth guy who puts the learners at the centre so as to encourage them to see inside things and seek out connections between different fields of knowledge.
My expertise is mainly in languages (both modern and classical), linguistics, and literacy, but I am also an amateur musician and I love reading books on history, art, as well as sciences.
My Experience
I have been tutoring younger colleagues for several years and I have developed a method of my own where I tailor the learning experience on the specific needs and interests of the learner in order to keep their interest and will to learn active.
In the past I taught Ancient Greek, Latin, and Italian, both languages and literatures, but I also practised a less personal form of tutoring by writing posts on History, Geography and Science on pages (something that has led me to appreciate even better the need to mould the language and the level of depth of an explanation in regards to the audience).
I am currently teaching Latin to a 10 yo boy as well as Italian to an adult learner and occasionally her two children (10 and 5 yo).
I have tutored English and Maths to primary and secondary age students.
I have enhanced DBS.
I am currently in training to become a QTLS teacher.
My Qualifications
Top of my class in an Italian "liceo", I went on to study at the elite Scuola Normale di Pisa, where I attended courses at both the Scuola and the University, and where I obtained both my BA and MA in Classics.

Emanuele has been teaching my son Latin for six months, and we are really pleased with the progress he is making. Emanuele is patient and engaging and makes the lessons fun through a diversity of approaches tailored to individual abilities and interests. My son says: 'Emanuele is really helping me learn, and I really enjoy it'.
