23+years in childcare, I have worked as a Accredited Childminder , as a Nanny and have also worked in a Nursery Setting as a room leader later leading to deputy manager roles. I have covered many workshops and training over the years and recently completed a speech and language course.

I’m available for evenings if not already booked so please ask for availability and I’m also available for a Saturday morning when hubby is working.

Right from the beginning messages I was helped to feel at ease. Mel went above and beyond to reassure me and to also get to know my girls and their needs in advance. My children were delighted with her on the evening despite it being the first babysitter they have had and the morning after they were already asking when she was coming back, as a mum that gives great reassurance. We were able to relax knowing the girls were in safe hands. Mel is friendly, kind, approachable and adapts to each child's personality and needs, we genuinely couldn't have picked a better lady to look after the girls will definitely use again and would definitely recommend to freinds.

Mel has been our family nanny 3 days a week for 6 months now. We have two boys (6&3) who love her, and the youngest often asks if "it's a Mel day?" and answers with a little cheer when I say yes.
Mel is reliable, prompt, honest and really good with the boys (and us). She manages their ups and down calmly and kindly, and works with them to find out what they re interested in and make each day fun. I love coming home when Mel has been there to well fed boys who have been having the afternoon they needed after school etc.
She has been a fabulous addition to our family and we are so grateful to have her.

Mel was really relaxed, friendly and approachable, we felt instantly comfortable with her, and she didn’t rush our 17 months old daughter who needed a few minutes to warm up to a stranger. She very quickly got over it and offered her toys to Mel. Our daughter woke up while we were away but she fell back asleep with Mel quickly despite having only just met her. We felt completely comfortable leaving her with Mel and we were able to have a relaxed evening knowing that our daughter was in very capable hands.
