My Experience
I have an older sister with autism and learning disabilities, though out my childhood and teens I supported her by going to all groups, clubs and even camping trips at mersea Ireland named as disability week because of her problems she wouldn't go anywhere alone without support.
My family home is adapted to the needs of someone with a disability e.g splash cards, written and photographic instructions. I am fully aware and fully experienced in this filled also.
I started working as an outdoor instructor at the age of 17 while studying outdoor education sports and biology. I taught ages youngest from year 5 to teenage years for two years.
I completed my first ski season aboard in France working in nursery ages starting from 3 months to teens. I was mainly positioned with infants and I absolutely loved my job. I returned to England and started a job as a live in nanny 4 days a week, aged 3 months and 2 years. My duties started at 7 in the morning and finished at 7 in the evening once both bathed and bed.
I enjoyed this job and moved to Ireland with the same family but came home after a couple of weeks as I want to be employed and live in England.
Completed my second season as a private nanny in the french alps had really good feedback this year and the children had a fantastic time aboard!!
My Qualifications
NVQ level 2 Public services
NVQ level 2 outdoor activities / sports and science covering over 12 subjects on child protection, working with children and teaching.
My Availability
Available to start now.
I can work flexible hours, part time or full time.
Night shifts.
