About Me
Ofsted graded ‘Outstanding’, Childminding with a Forest School twist!
I'm Melanie Marshall and I live in the beautiful village of Chalfont St Giles, Forest Tribe Friends, my childminding practice is outdoor based, visiting many of the wonderful woodlands in the area, where the children in my care will explore and play out in the fresh air (whatever the weather) we will be climbing trees, scrambling up banks, making dens, cooking on fires, using tools, hunting for bugs, learning about our environment and getting mucky in mud! I also have purpose built cabin at my home base, which has many age appropriate resources, children can start with me from 2.5yrs/3yrs +.
My Experience
I have many years of childcare experience, having run the Village Community Pre School Playgroup for the last 9 years, previously I was a childminder and am now returning to childminding. I am also qualified forest school leader & run stay n play sessions, holiday clubs & take forest school into other practices.
My Qualifications
I am level 3 qualified Forest School Leader and Level 3 qualified in Childcare, with paediatric first aid, level 2 food hygiene and safeguarding and child protection. Along with many courses I have attended on learning and development in the EYFS.

My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
After school rate £20 per session based on pick up till 5.30pm.
Session based fees, available on request. 2 & 3 year old funding available, childcare vouchers accepted.
