I am passionate about the care and education I give to all children. I provide a warm and loving environment. I have 3 of my own children, 17, 16 and 5 years old.
I have 15 years teaching background and 18 months as a registered Childminder.
I am a qualified Early Years SENCo.
I live for and love what I do.
My Experience
I have 15 years experience in teaching and Childcare. I have been a Childminder for 2 years. I have experience from newborn to teens. I am a qualified and experienced Special Needs Co-ordinator. With vast experience supporting children with a range of special educational needs. I have supported right from diagnosis to EHCP. I am also trained to PEG feed. One of my Assistants is BSL trained and also a qualified SENCo.
My Qualifications
BA Degree in Education.
HLTA Status.
Level 3 Teaching and Learning.
Early Years SENCo Level 4 award.
My Availability
Available Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Childcare for children aged 0-4 years only.

8 hour sessions. Charged at £43 per session. Additional hours available at additional hourly charge.

Absolutely love kim my daughter has been with her since she first opened she loves her kim goes above and beyond to help cater for he chimps shes not just a childminder shes grown into a friend and now family especially to freya her team are amazing also there the best of the best! Because if how good they are freya has came on leaps and bounds so she wont be going to school nursery and will be staying with kim till she starts reception and even the i will be keeping her place for school holidays!

My identical twins have been with Kim for 8 months. One of my boys has complexed medical needs and disabilities and Kim has gone above and beyond time and time again. She has undergone extra training to ensure his basic medical needs are met, and has gone the extra mile to make sure he can access the same or similar activities as his peers. My boys aren't just at a childminder, they are part of a family and they are loved as well as cared for. She is on the end of the phone when I need help, advice or just a good chat and I couldn't imagine leaving my children with anyone else.

My little boy has been with Kim since she very first started opening and he loves it. My little boy is autistic and she always goes the extra mile to give him the best and more. She has supported me to be able to get his EHCP which will have a massive impact on the rest of his education. Kim and the other girls are beautiful humans inside and out. I feel so relaxed knowing my little boy is getting the best care and having lots of fun along the way. The activities are amazing and my little boy has been on many outings which he enjoys. Kim is always on the other end of a phone and has supported me through some tough times. Helping out and offering more support above and beyond particularly when I had my daughter and the support around my little boy and his additional needs has been so important and well managed. Thank you for everything you do. We are gutted to be leaving for big nursery in September but we have made a friend for life.

We have had both of my kids with Kim and the rest of the cheeky chimps staff since 2021. My kids absolutely LOVE cheeky chimps, we are extremely grateful for everything the staff have done.
My oldest son is non-verbal autistic and has came on leaps and bounds with cheeky chimps, they are extremely inclusive and love the kids like their own.
Kim is helping me with my sons school and EHCP as well as just being a great friend emotionally for me.
We absolutely love cheeky chimps and I highly recommend sending your kids here if you want them in a safe, happy and well loved environment.
