I am 25 years old and have graduated with a first class degree from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. I have lots of experience with childcare: I am DBS checked, a trained child chaperone for Camden Council, and I have completed a babysitting course at my high-school with St. John’s ambulance training. I have worked for one year as a Nanny in Hampstead for a Finnish family, and another year in swiss cottage with a different family. I am also an experienced children's theatre performer. I am an extremely enthusiastic worker and I love to read, act, and chat with young people. My background in children's theatre means I make sure the children in my care feel engaged and are having fun. I have also worked abroad as an English Language tutor- this means I am comfortable in helping younger kids with their English skills (although I do no speak any other languages).
My Experience
For the last year I have been working as a Nanny for a wonderful Finnish family in Hampstead, London. My role involved picking up the children from school (on foot, I cannot drive), helping with reading homework and putting their dinner on, along with taking them to the park, bath-time and planning other fun activities to pass the time. Before this, I have worked as a regular babysitter on weekends. I am DBS checked, St. John's Ambulance trained and experienced in Children's theatre. I have also trained and have a ID as a child chaperone for Camden council. I am able to provide copies of all qualifications listed above. I have performed to children age 3-6 at Swiss Cottage Library in a play called 'The Journey Home', and I have also toured Cornwall with director Jade Lewis in an interactive children's theatre piece for under 5's.
My Qualifications
I have a First Class Bachelor's degree from Central School for Speech and Drama. I have received all A’s at both GCSE and Alevel- so I’m happy to help with reading and homework.
My Availability
Any time. Preferably looking for regular babysitting work or nannying once weekly.
